Spent a little time in Shreveport. Seems like every woman over 30 is at least 20-30lbs overweight with fake tits and hammering back margaritas on the reg. That’s the ‘classy’ ones too.

Hot Springs, AR deserves consideration.
I have seen people wait (on a bench) in line for a mobility scooter at the Wal-Mart.
Just park in their Wal-Mart parking lot on a Saturday and view the patrons as they come and go. You will see a truly amazing slice of humanity.

I think it's less this and has more to do with poverty, education level, and culture.
Sure, you can walk around more in the summertime up North, but we can walk around more during the fall, winter, and spring. We just don't. Or if we do, we overeat to the extent that it doesn't matter.
