Could take that taxed money and throw it back to the city on actual physical improvements to building and roads that don't take 4 years to put together.

Yeah, LA is known for wisely investing tax revenues

I state the obvious on forums to give a positive mindset to the lurkers who might one day work for the government. I could dramatically change the state with one post. (butterfly effect)

The states that don't make the substantial financial improvement of legalizing pot soon will regret it in 30 years, while the states that did are going to be thriving with improvements to new cities rather than fixing the only dumps left.

I want to legalize it completely because of freedom. I don't want to tax it all. I think people should be able to grow it in their backyard if they want. frick the government controlling more and more of our lives and putting people in prison over a plant. And I don’t even smoke it.

I can't recall reading an article of someone being arrested for pot in Louisiana.

What does someone being arrested for pot have to do with pot helping to improve the state?

Continue to quote out of context, it helps.

It would definitely bring in some major revenue. New Orleans is one of two biggest party cities in the south, but has been struggling for a while now. Why not add pot? We would be the only state in the entire South. That right there is bound to make a significant impact on our tourism industry. Plus if all of New Orleans was high, maybe people would chill out and stil shooting each other.
