Are you sure you know what premise means?

Yes I do. It's not a house, In your case it's not a 1972 single wide

Seriously, premises means a living space.

A few seconds of loud noise! Oh No!

I generally like briefly loud things. Music, bikes, F-18s.

I've gotten to the point where I essentially believe that all motorcycles will stall unless they are constantly revved at stoplights.

I've taken to putting my car in neutral and revving it incessantly as well, so as to not suffer a similar fate.

Shades of the abortion argument. Ever notice everyone who is pro abortion wasn't aborted? Lots of those BMW and Goldwing riders who ended up with road rash or dead because of varmints are no longer BMW, Goldwing, or any other type of motorcycle rider. I personally know two who quit riding because of wrecks due to dogs.

The ever growing number of Harley riders that are dead because they were too stupid to wear a full helmet makes having loud pipes because of dogs seem a little ridiculous, as if safety were only a consideration if it does not detract from "coolness".

Good thing you don't feel the need to thump your stereo so folks can hear you blocks away, you wouldn't be able to tell if your car was incessantly revving.

There's d-bags in every walk of life. Deal.

You know what, you're right. To hell with freedom. The consumption of alcohol and it's results are a massive safety problem. Outlaw it. Outlaw tobacco, candy bars, ice cream, and any food that tastes good. How far would you like to go on this slippery safety slope?

Your argument was that having loud exhaust was for the sake of safety, now you want it to be a freedom issue, which is it?

Who said they're mutually exclusive? You want to make wearing a helmet a safety issue, but want to ignore the possibility of preventing some of those accidents in the first place.

As a person that doesn't really care one way or the other about motorcycles, the "freedom" argument is lame and comes across like a Snowflake. You should have the freedom to have obnoxiously loud motorcycles? Oh you poor victimized loud pipers.

Other than the douches who have no regard for people in residential areas, whatever ride your bikes. You like having shite vibrating your nuts on the way to the quickie-mart, have fun. It isn't a freedom issue. It is a respect issue. As it has already been said, many bikers just don't give a shite about anyone else.

I'll type this slowly, just for you. You should have the freedom to choose whether you wear a helmet. You should have the freedom to have loud pipes if you like, because it partially adresses several safety issues concerning the dangers of riding a motorcycle.

People do things that annoy, disturb, disrupt, and even endanger themselves and other people every damn day. Grow up, realize that just because you don't like or even understand something doesn't mean it should be against the law, and go enjoy the shite you do that someone else thinks should be a crime. 'Merica.

If I had a bike, I'd want the loudest pipes possible. Only reason being is for safety. People are already not paying attention to driving so having a loud bike when you are in someone's blind spot on the interstate...

Guess it's time to answer one of the longest standing mysteries of the OT. I was Green & White.
