Mine started fine this morning and I was wearing a B.A.C.A. tee-shirt. Yesterday it did OK for my Motorhead T-shirt as well.

That's funny coming from someone who argues with every person he disagrees with

No not because you don't like them. I don't give a shite what you do or don't like. It doesn't bother me either way.

What it is "because" is you think things you "don't like" should be made illegal. Like I said before, this makes you look like an a-hole of a douchebag.

And I say that as someone who does ride a motorcycle without loud pipes virtually daily.

Why do you think it's your right to impose wildly unusual noise upon others?

Why do you think it's your right to decide what constitutes "unusually loud" noise?

It has gotten much worse on the Trace but still nowhere near the level as what the Blue Ridge is experiencing. The Trace has really picked up enforcement the last month on the Parkway for speeding motorcycles so hopefully that will help curve the problem.

Do you like the noise your harley makes because it's on par with everyday ambient noise?

Because noise pollution laws exist?

I just had a coworker get a Harley. He now wears a leather vest with a skull and Carries his helmet into the office like he thinks he is a badass. It's pretty funny.

He is deaf so I don't think he realizes how annoying his bike is.

I'll be glad to get you in touch with him if you like. Y'all can talk it over face to face.

Think he'll be in New Orleans sometime soon? I don't feel like traveling to Alabama for this simple conversation.

I'm not being narcissistic, I'm truly attempting to understand how or why someone can think making their vehicle louder is "cool".

So any vehicle that does not match what you consider "everyday ambient noise" should be made illegal? Guess that means everything from pick-ups to 18 wheelers will have to go.

And what happens when someone decides your shitty Chrysler minivan makes too much noise? Will you park it?

But none of that matters. The question still stands. Who do you think you are to be able to legally declare what is or isn't too much noise? What gives you the right to take away the rights of others?

I doubt it.

I honestly can't tell you. My Harley is pretty much stock and sounds fine the way it is to me, especially considering it costs like $600 to get those "loud" pipes.
