How about a shhh...then call security. Don't try to be a big man cause your carrying. What if this dead guy had just gotten a text saying is mom had an accident. The big man with the gun was judge, jury and executioner. Little guys with big man complexes carrying guns scares me...and rightfully so.

Shooter was a retired police officer.

That doesn't change what you said. And you forgot to tell us how small his dick is this time.

And he was detained by an off-duty copy watching another movie

If this incident stops even one text message from going out during a movie showing, it was worth it.

It has gotten ridiculous with all the rude people texting these days. I was at a packed movie with my wife and this guy in front of me was texting on and off for about 15 minutes. I asked nicely if he would please stop and he gave me the stink eye and said no. I got up and got someone from the theater who told the guy to stop, but he started back up later. Rather than start a fight in a theater, I just let it go since the movie was nearly done but it ruined the movie for me. I hardly ever go now unless it is a matinee where there are no crowds. Just too many rude people these days and they can't take the least bit of correction.

I totally agree. The level of rude motherfrickers has risen to the point where I just stopped going to movies. I've almost come to throwing a punch twice with rude people texting after the movie starts. I just don't get how they can justify it. Alamo Draft House will no kick your arse out after one infraction. If I do go see a movie, it will probably be during off peak times, and at an Alamo.
For Flame Salamander. Per the request that runs at the beginning of EVERY movie nowadays, you should have your phone turned off. So the guy shouldn't even know that his mom was in a car accident until after the movie was over.

Remember people, crime has no color.
ETA: How convenient that all 4 of them had the day off to go to the movies!

Well you certainly seem to have a good grasp of what happened!

I believe he was a retired police captain.

He was a retired Police Captain and he did get theater security. That is what escalated the situation and led to the shooting. So with those recently released facts, y'all can continue this argument.
