wildlife and fisheries uses them all the time. Bet it was one of theirs. Between that and the bloodhounds it was only a matter of time. That's what's known as an unwinnable game of hide-and-seek

Is it really? I was looking at a map for places to ride my bike (that's a whole other OT thread) and just based on routes it looked like a decent place. Good thing I didn't ride down there

I spent a ton of my childhood on kendalwood in the 70s and 80s. Of course that was long before meth. It was fun as hell riding down to riverview bar on our bikes and playing in the Amite.

It is hilarious to read the media reports. No race mentioned, no questioning of police actions, no outrage. Wonder why this is so different than most other shootings?

I have a buddy that lived on The river road, off of Kendalwood. He was nether trashy or a criminal. I started to look him up when I saw all of this crap was happening this morning.

I found his obit. He died in Feb. His ex-wife lives about an hour north of me (Florida) and his daughter lives 10 miles from me. Small world.

This whole time I’ve been waiting on Gary’s input to best determine if this Police shooting was justified. Perhaps he had a hard time driving out there to do a live report.

So now who's going to find a cure for the Coronavirus?

Ledlow was released from federal prison in January after serving a 17-year sentence for possessing a gun with the serial code scratched off as well as a drug sale infraction in 2003, according to federal records.

He had been arrested 13 times and convicted of a pair of felonies in Ascension Parish before his federal conviction, U.S. District Court filings show.

The cases include a felony armed robbery conviction after Ledlow held up a Gonzales bar at gunpoint in 1999, according to Ascension Parish court records.

An upstanding member of society. The sun is shining just a little bit dimmer without him around. He will be missed by many.
