FWIW, I think that was a local guy whose feed they just tapped into, but the guy was being incredibly insensitive. He wasn’t trying to be, just was completely unaware of how he came off.

yes. people who want to break the law are going to break a law. that doesnt mean that metal detectors wouldnt be a deterrent from this shite happening on campus, during school. you cant police someone from doing anything, anywhere. but you can absolutely make it more difficult for someone to do shite like this on campus, during school

A severe increase in mental health awareness/treatment would get us a lot farther than anything else, and it would solve a lot more problems than just this, IMO.

A freshman student's parents said the same took place. The teacher put himself in between his students. He died according to the parent.
