Well, if we look at cars, if car manufacturers made cars as safe as possible, 99% of people wouldn't be able to afford them. Affordability carries risk, if you think about it.
The same thing with the gun control debate. Our government isn't a totalitarian one. A totalitarian government can guarantee your safety. A free government cannot. Freedom carries some risk. The question becomes how much freedom are you willing to sacrifice in order to feel safe?

I would have to pull up my post history but I've been very clear before when it came to attacking people based off race instead of by their actions.
I am not even in defense of anyone
I just hate when people try to race bait, its annoying.
This isn't a race issue, its a case of a shitty person who took lives of innocent people. No one should be defended here.

It's really odd how "mass shooting" statistics are handled. They'll say that there are over 400 mass shootings every year. Using that definition, the vast majority of mass shootings are committed by black males.
They then mention that mass shootings are always crazy white kids.
Then they say we need to ban assault rifles but handguns are ok despite the fact that, if we use their own definition of a mass shooting, then the overwhelming majority are committed using handguns.
The cherry picking of statistics is extremely frustrating.

The car argument is fricking stupid. Action could actually be done to slow down all these school shootings but nothing will be done.

Can’t legislate crazy. I would like to see school entries and exits treated like airport TSA. Controlled entrances and exits. Sucks having to go to school in prison but better than leaving on a gurney.
