I do believe the overall numbers are actually better than before.. such as the 90's.. as we continue to find solutions. Schools are more safer because of the awareness and attention brought.
But that doesn't mean we should just accept it and give up pursuing.. 22, regardless of the extent, is still too many.. and these recent ones have been absolutely awful in number of casualties.
I realize we don't live in a utopia-like world.
