Fricking disagreement on Socrates and Greek philosophy again talking about their summer reading assignments. The students are also probably lashing out in frustration due to the Downtown Library not open yet.

I feel bad for black students who care about academics who have to deal with this....all because their zip code dictates where they go.

A totally unfair system.

"We cannot allow our school system to perpetuate the school to prison pipeline. These children need to be freed and all charges dropped. The SRO also needs to be fired for not trying to deescalate the situation before using unjustified force"

you realize there's white kids that have to go to these schools, right? Why don't you feel sorry for them? Or Asians, Latinos,Indians?

It’d be more shocking if there wasn’t a fight at Baker HS.

It’s not the system that’s to blame

The school should've just called their fathers to correct the situation.

Just keep them in a Juvenile Detention Center. Looks like they belong there anyway. That's a classy looking bunch.

When I was starting my freshman year at SLU back in the 80's, a guy in my dorm from Baker was proud as shite of Baker high school... Wonder how he feels now...

What is unfair is what is done in Tangipahoa Parish. If you are black you can go to any school in the parish that you want to. If you are white you have to go to the school in your district. All of it mandated by a federal judge.
