They’re going to cut costs so hard they’ll cut the hole out of the donut to save a buck.

How do you take the hole out of something?

Wouldn't that be filling in the hole, and thus cause the price to go up due to added material?

What banks or lending institutions are going to be stupid enough to lend Shipely's money now? Because that's what this PE firm is going to do. They are going to sucker someone into lending to Shipely's and then then they will be burdened with paying the loan down as the PE firm investors will pocket the cash.

What? The one on Jackson is an institution.
I like them all. Once you bite the empty part of the kolache off the end, they are pretty good. Blueberry cakes are great.

No. There were a bunch of people milling around in their parking lot, which distracted me from noticing the light turn red.

Shipley's bagels?

Bagels not allowed by Shipley Corp

One family owns the Shipley Franchises in MS. Shipley's corp told the Tupelo locations to stop selling and remove from the menu unapproved donut flavors, biscuits, and MS Delta Hot tamales.

Instead of changing the menu they changed the name on the sign to Scarlets's Do-Nuts
