Shingrix is made the old fashioned way, so no mRNA to worry about. The first shot isn’t too bad, make sure you get the second one on a Friday or when you’ll have a few days off. It’ll knock you on your arse.

GET THE SHOTS - you do not want shingles.

The shots didn't affect me as bad as some. Everybody's different.
BUT ... get it anyway !! It's better than the alternative.

Get it, it's not MRNA like the COVID vaccination.

The first shot will make you feel like shite for the first day or two then you'll quickly go back to normal. The 2nd shot will make you feel like shite faster and for a little longer, but then you are back to normal again.

All that said, it's better than getting shingles and has a very high success rate (something like 97%) at preventing shingles.

Are you retarded?

There are some seriously dumb physicians out there.

Most of them are forced to have a “certain opinion” about topics, or be forced out. So, no, physicians can’t be trusted just because “they went to school for a long time”
It’s a corrupt system.

Take it. Some people have no reaction. With the first dose, I felt like I had the flu for a day.

With the second, nothing.

But I did the doses after having shingles 5-6 years earlier.

Shingles is nasty. I thought I had poison ivy that would not go away. Avoid shingles like an ex-wife that caught you in a three some with her sister and bff.

Pretty sad that people still think like this. Doctors are people too and they’re not any more trustworthy across the board than roofers, restaurants, mechanics, etc. that will overcharge you and sell you things you don’t need to line their pockets. Some doctors are great and honest, and some of them are pieces of shite who peddle vaccines because that’s a huge moneymaker for them and their practices. Anyone who blindly trusts anyone because of their title is seriously misguided

My Dr advised me to get the shot. Had second case of shingles this past fall. It was on my face and surrounded one of my eyes. Crap was very painful. First case was in college 35-plus years ago.

Dr said since this case was severe he would recommend the shot. I have yet to schedule it though.

My doc says to get the Shingriix shots based 9n the odds of older people getting shingles. I know a few people who had shingles and one suffered for a month with that crap. I’ll probably get it soon. I think it is basically free now.

And there’s a reason the people selling the vaccines went to business school for a long time.

For example, ceo of Johnson and Johnson.

quote:

Duato speaks English, Spanish, and Italian. He received a Master of Business Administration from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain, and a Master of International Management from the Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, Arizona.

Just as I suspected.

I’m not saying don’t get the shingles vaccine.

I prob wouldn’t do the chicken pox one as a kid. That hasn’t been around that long and the people aren’t old enough to know if that will cause shingles later down the road.

I’m in my 30s and we weren’t getting vaxxed for chicken pox. So the ones who got it are younger than me.

My SIL is Hopkins educated and don’t trust shite she says. Her response to 95% of things are just “that’s normal”.

Doctors are the only profession where you can be wrong and/or not know the answer a large portion of the time and still be successful.

I got the old shingle shot about 8 years ago. I hear there is a new one out that is two doses. Do I need to get the new one if I had the old one?
