Same happened where I live - request to all businesses and residents to give permission to tap into your cameras.

If you have a Ring system, Ring already gives LEO's access.

Wow is that true about ring of so that is horrible. All cameras I am sure can be hacked these days. Cannot believe more people are not up in arms about this.

I 100% support thr police but this is a “hell no” from me. If something happens and I have video of it, I’ll turn it in but they’re not getting free access to everything.

The thing is this is just them going to citizens and businesses and asking them to sogn up. This is not some thing voted on or whatever. There will be a huge amount of people who just do this crap. That pretty much means whether I have it or not someone around me has itZ maybe not as intimate as my own cameras.

If a crime happens in the vicinity of my cameras, I will share pertinent videos. Otherwise, stay away, Big Brother.
