BARRON, Wis. (AP) — A Wisconsin teenager who has been missing since her parents were found dead in their home isn’t a runaway and investigators believe she’s in danger, a sheriff said Tuesday.
Authorities have been searching for 13-year-old Jayme Closs since deputies responding to a 911 call early Monday found her parents , James and Denise Closs, dead in their home in Barron

The call came from a cellphone inside the home

Jayme was last seen at a family gathering Sunday afternoon, said Fitzgerald, who said Monday that investigators don’t consider her a suspect in her parents’ deaths. On Tuesday, he declined to elaborate as to why investigators believe Jayme is not a runaway, saying that disclosing more information would compromise their investigation
quote:
A girl resembling Jayme was spotted at a gas station in south Florida on Monday afternoon, according to a tip Miami police say they received. But Fitzgerald wouldn’t comment about the validity of that report, saying only that authorities are “actively researching that tip.”

She definitely killed her parents. I don't know anything about this case, but I know from looking at the picture in the OP.

When I first saw the story, a big part of me thought that she is a runaway.

Is that the best picture they could find or does she always look possessed?

Someone tried to kidnap her. Her parents heard what was going on, tried to stop the kidnapper, who had no choice, but to kill the parents?

Anyone heard from Trillhog recently?

That news story is incredibly scant on details. How were the parents killed? Do they think the girl is kidnapped? Given the circumstances, why would anyone even suspect her of being a runaway?
This story is weird AF.

Poor girl. Hopefully they find her.

It's clear that the Sheriff killed the parents and has the daughter locked up in his basement for future use.

I saw another article that said it was a gun shot wound scene.

I followed it with a question mark, that seems like the most obvious thing, but that doesn't mean that's what happened.
