Negative. Did get a job offer from them in May but declined to stay at my current company.

Yes as a matter of fact. He was VP of Engineering in the Hague previously. No truck nuts.

Yeah, the Shell GM's aren't exactly truck nut guys and neither are the top 25 or so people at each site. I'm sure it's the same with Exxon and Marathon.

I’ve worked for P66, Motiva/Shell,Tesoro/Andeavor/Marathon, and now an LNG company. Definitely not Baws running the plants in places I’ve worked.

So, when do you think She’ll will completely get rid of their oil assets and move strictly to chemicals?

5 years
10 years

If you mean refineries, I could see them being out of them in five years. The one in Deerpark and a few overseas are massive and profitable and I think tied in with chemicals, so not sure about those.

They are still investing and exploring for deepwater oil production so they are still in this kind of stuff for a long arse time.

Would assume Aramco (Motiva) is the buyer

Any word on if Aramco is interested? Seems like a buyer's market right now and they were interested in expanding operations in the US.

I’m still amazed that the Saudis didn’t go buy some other US assets over the last three years. They just have Port Arthur and some pipelines and terminals as of now

Reason, they going broke. Really. To make their ends to meet, oil has to trade above $80 a barrel. They drop a shite load of money to their people. No taxes or the likes.
