It's definitely scary. That's why I stay up until I KNOW there is no longer a threat.

How much damage to your home did you take.?

None remarkably apart from a bit of roof damage. The apartment complex about 10 ft away next door had it's entire roof ripped off and is still sitting there condemned.

My truck had more than $9K in damage done to it though.

Tornado warning in SW Oklahoma pending (Tipton area). Moving north east.

They asked all of us at work here to go home before rush hour. Bad day to be in Oklahoma City.....but I'm in a 6 story hotel now. Should be fine.

Keeping an eye down in Texas now. Been watching the triple point south, but nothing has been super impressive on radar, but that's a legit wall cloud posted above.

Really impressed by storms firing behind the dryline. That takes some impressive energy to force those up.

That's a bummer. We had tennis ball size hail on the north side of the tornado. Went out the next day and couldn't believe how close it missed us by. Real eye opener that's for sure.

In the near term, cell near Vemon, TX might be the one to watch. Also, elevated cells down east of Abilene, TX, if they can get surface based.

That Vemon cell is now warned. Cells east of Abilene appear to still be elevated but updrafts are looking healthier on satellite.

I got my truck back from getting fixed on Thursday.

I'm going to park it beneath a bank drive through or a gas station tonight for however long it takes. Not fixing that thing again.

Was surprised to see them go up so far west. However, it was obvious the forcing was coming in hot when the agitated cu field went up in New Mexico earlier.

That's way above my pay grade, but based on my barely informed opiniom, you'll probably be fine.

You can tell the lack of shear with the unimpressive storm presentation.

Just now able to get caught up. Kind of a dud so far as far as I can tell and this is prime time.

Will be interested to see what they do when they lose the sun.

The soundings are ridiculous above 700 mb, Scoop. So this can go into the evening. So far, playing out as expected. Lots of hail reports, practically no tornadoes.

Yeah, been getting caught up.

South of Lincoln is impressive. Could be a chain of three or four tornados in that batch in a little bit.
