Lots of funnel clouds about 30 miles SW of Wichita right now. A few storms tracking our way. Gonna be a fun afternoon.

If you overlaid radar to that image it is very cool. The storms in Kansas go from the triple point down the outflow boundary. They are well south of the warm front but are increasing in coverage. They have a broad warm sector to work in but might be too crowded at this point to take advantage of it.

Storms firing along the dryline that sags SW from the triple point also appear to be lining out.

Storms out in west Texas are actually behind the dryline, shows how strong the incoming forcing is.

In the near term, cell near Vemon, TX might be the one to watch. Also, elevated cells down east of Abilene, TX, if they can get surface based.

I dream of the day I can watch a live stream without them bogging down. It seems like the technology we have now should be more than enough.

Also Northwest Arkansas got put in the enhanced area on the SPC map.

I'll be up all night. It won't arrive until 1am or so in my neck of the woods.

2006 I had a tornado miss my house by a half mile. It was rated an F2
