I'm calling it a night. Hope none of our posters have damage from this or tomorrow's round.

The line is coming through my location now. It’s below severe limits. I’m glad it turned out not to be too bad here.

One day I would love to get a definitive answer as to why Baton Rouge seems to eat most storm systems. Oh well, I’m not complaining this time, unlike when I would bitch during the droughts

I'm up way past my bedtime and I'm half asleep but I'll be damned if those cells didn't end up firing out in front of the line in Southern Alabama and one of them is tornado warned now. Hopefully they don't produce

And like clockwork I'm out of power. The power line that was never properly fixed after Beryl just snapped. Thanks Centerpoint!

I would assume it has something to do with the plants along the river

Did it even rain in BR area?

Not downplaying what others experienced (or will experience) with this system, but there's no evidence it even rained in St.G.

one hell of a squall line

What a joke. High and dry at my house in BR. Not a drop. A nice breeze. Only thing “squalling” is the neighbor’s kid screaming about having to wait outside for the school bus in the “cold”. (48 degrees).”

ETA: As has been and is getting more frequent, weather men (and women) whiffed big time. I stopped planning anything around local forecasts a long time ago. This out of control hyping of local weather is gonna get somebody killed when they start ignoring forecasts based on totally inaccurate and over hyped weather forecasts. Classic “boy who cried wolf” scenario.

I guess this can also be considered severe weather. Picture my mom sent yesterday of the neighbors who cleared her sidewalk and driveway. I think she got about 18" of snow in Green Bay.

First time I’ve lost power in BR in quite a while. Barely rained, odd as I feel like we’ve had more wind than this in the past few months.

It was 65 when I went to be last night. It’s now 35, feels like 26. With flurries.

It was 76 yesterday.

The Indian Mounds have built-in Native American spells that protect the area from bad weather.
