The tornado over Lake Ponchatrain had big hook echo and a large debris ball earlier.

Looks like it may be dying off though...but maybe the debris ball has smaller signature now because it's tracking over marsh and water? Maybe someone can shed some light on this.

WDSU New Orleans just reported that a Tornado touchdown in Convent Louisiana caused casualties and structure damage per the NWS.

The debris ball you see is a radar product that basically differentiates the size of the stuff being blown around. Rain/water is generally the same size and thus won't show up as it goes over water. Needs trees and shite to show up on the correlation coefficient.

Just watch the velocities until it hits the North Shore.
