LMAO at someone from South Carolina downplaying a severe weather event. Even the most incredibly intense tornado outbreaks almost completely run out of steam before they get to the Carolinas. Fortunately for you guys you don't get anywhere close to the severe weather/tornadoes that Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, and western Georgia get.

That looks like a serious tornado. Don't see that presentation that strong in this part of the world very often.
Exactly.

Damn. When meteorologist predict an active tornado producing storm to pass thru Baton Rouge (which it has), if the OT doesn't get something similar to the picture below.

Shenandoah was in the warning area until 3:45, with estimate time of it being worst at 3:40. Didn't see anything at all but some light to moderate rain. Weird.

Looks like this is a larger tornado. They are lighting up the map for this one.

Lucky that much of that warning area is sparsely populated....but if you are anywhere between Gonzales and LaPlace on I-10 or on I-55, you may want to find shelter.

Looks like they were way off on that projected path. It's heading toward Lake Maurepas now.

In prairieville and I'd ratemy neighborhood as a 3/10 as far as storms go. Winds never reached more than 20.

Same here. I was sitting in my living room getting texts about Gold's Gym being destroyed while watching my back yard plants standing still, and I live right by Old Perkins/Bluff

That storm was in two parts with a warning issued for each. The northern one wasn't extended like the southern one was.

No shite.

Do you have a good radar signature? I think it just crossed I-10 around 61 a few miles south of St Amant. Looks big.

is there any traffic cameras out there?

Well I'm thoroughly scared from reading this. I'm a huge wimp about tornadoes and it looks like it'll be dark by the time this gets to me here in Foley.

Leaving work early in a few min. Gonna be thunderbuddies with the dogs.
