Duke based on where the storms are now when do you expect the storms to make it to NOLA? Trying to decide if I should let the staff go home early.

That's suspect for tornado getting together. Keep an eye on that one.

Timing is really hard. Storms will start rolling up soon, but those won't be severe. I think the window for NOLA is like 5 pm or later for severe stuff. Let em out an hour early to get home maybe? It's right before a holiday. How productive is it there anyway?

I just drove past Ralph's in Ascension Parish. Parking lot is full and folks are running in and out like there's a Cat 4 hurricane coming.

Send them home at 2 if there is nothing pressing to get out. They will appreciate the gesture regardless.

Not to minimize this storm but getting caught in Atlanta traffic during a normal snow storm is catastrophic.

No rotation on radar, but looks of a bit of an inflow notch regardless. Energy is just ramping up for sure. North of I12 should be keeping a close watch as the afternoon goes on.

Seattle and Portland are the same way. Just the forecast of snow creates a panic

Sporadic heavy rain and small thunder/lightning in BR right now

Would you agree that central Mississippi, Alabama and into western GA are in for the worst?

Is there a website up there that has a thread everytime it snows? Or when the wind blows?
