Does that cell south of Plaq look like hail?
It's really small and mixed in with rain if it's there. Hard to be sure as far away from the radar as it is, but I'm seeing more just very heavy rain on the dual pol scans.

look like hail? I see some purplish white dots in there.
That sounds like lacrosse ball size hail

Yes, I’d say that some some spots should be seeing hail with that cell.

Let me know when the shuttlecock size hail gets here.

So far things are not as bad as predicted.
So far things are not as bad as possible. There is a difference.
Despite some local TV guys that may hype it, but he NWS is always very fair in their forecasts and chances. They will talk about high end potential, but they'll also keep it real with uncertainty.

Just wait until that pea-size hail becomes rain. Then you will know you have bought the farm.

Thanks Duke. Trying to learn.
It's hard to tell on traditional radar, I'm judging off the dual pol options on radarscope. The distance from the radar site makes it hard to be certain. There's hail potential there but it's going to be small.

You've made it clear that you aren't happy with the forecast of severe weather. We get it. Can you now stop responding to every person possible and fricking up the thread? Nobody cares
