These threads have truthfully made me develop a mild form of lilapsophobia. I want to go back to being weather unaware.

Lilapsophobia: Abnormal fear of tornadoes.

This is a weather guru thread. We all knew what lilapsophobia meant.

I did not. I was just poking at the last several fronts that were going to create chaos down here and fizzled out, thats all.

just like hurricanes... all it takes is 1 to frick up your world

know the potential... prepare for the worst... hope for the best

we got lucky on Saturday that the tornadoes decided to form in Texas & Mississippi and skip us

we may not be so lucky next time

I've had that since the day I watched one go directly over my house. It's freaky as hell.

Define abnormal? I am scared to hell of tornadoes. I went through one when I was 6 years old and came close to getting killed. When there is a tornado warning in my area I can’t sleep and will pace around until the threat is gone. I pray at least that this system slows and everyone in the area is able to get home and off the roads before it goes through. But the timing now looks like it will hit during evening rush hour
