Austin

Or at least it was until too many douchebags from Dallas and Houston moved there.

The problem with all three cities is people moving there from the Midwest and West coast

Lived in both and will take Dallas for the win. That said, I was in Dallas last week for work and that whole 121 Frisco/Plano/McKinney corridor that I used to love (when I lived there) is out of control with the Legacy business park, shopping malls and tolls roads.

Glad I am not there anymore. I'll take the mountains north of the ATL.

I haven't been to Dallas in about 15 years so my opinion there is an old one, but as for Houston proper, not the suburbs and upscale neighborhood towns, the only place worse than Houston proper is New Orleans.

I actually split my time and live in both and with extensive time in both would say Houston >>>>>>Dallas

You mention Dallas has more money, nope all that flashyness in Dallas is being paid on. Houston has as much or more money just fewer suckers making huge payments to look like they have something they don't.

Baw Legacy is where the dimes at (and the MILFS).

People laugh at me but the population center is fricking moving north.

Let's be real, Houston over Dallas any day.
1. I'm from Houston and now living in DFW for work.
2. Dallas area is more flashy. Houston is more centered and business oriented in my opinion.

Dallas is nicer, cleaner and lots of white ppl. Houston has some great qualities, but all the plants surrounding it and some inner sketchy parts can make it seem dumpy for sure. That said, it seems like La ppl view both cities as the promised land; both offer more opportunity and things to do than any city in La obviously.

They both have sketchy parts. Most of Houston's sketchy parts are being bought out now and redone aka the heights area. Went from homes on blocks to three story nice town homes, condos and houses.

I lived in Houston 9 years (Cypress Area) and have been in DFW 17 (Addison while single/Murphy, Wylie as a married parent).

I like the DFW area

The Heights is nicer now for sure, have a lot of friends in that area and really like it. I was referring to parts of Houston like Midtown, where it's like warehouses and industrial, a little rough right in the middle of the city. Just seems like Dallas Downtown and Uptown is all very clean, nice, safe, walk anywhere around there without a problem.

Dallas is lame.

Fort Worth is also becoming Austin level overrated on this board.
