Meh. I lived in North Dallas off 75 for 2 years and felt totally bored by it. I wasn't far away from anything, but everything really close sucked and felt like suburbia.
I moved to North Oak Cliff a few months ago and actually see myself staying in Dallas for a long while now. I'm near Bishop Arts and couldn't be happier. But this is coming from someone who absolutely loved living in New Orleans. To each his own I guess.

I work right off the DNT and it feels like more of the same to me. I guess I haven't spent much time hanging out around there though.

Malls and Uptown don't do much for me save for a few restaurants I like in Uptown. There are a handful of good places on Belt Line but it's jam packed with chain after chain. I haven't been to legacy yet as I rarely go further North but I've heard good things.
