Neither. The correct word should be geekier.
However, if one would go on to discuss the ends and outs, strategies, and math of said games, that would be being nerdy about their geeky game.

I tried learning how to play Magic. I got the rundown from a family member. It was way way way too complicated for my 35 yr old mind to keep interested.

No, unfortunately I’ve been in a months long lull due to various factors. I’ve got a bunch primed and ready to go, and have started a couple.
Both fantasy mines and 40k stuff.

Magic because you play in person and everyone sees the people you’re hanging out with and what you’re doing.

I was a teenager in the 90s. There was this one nerd kid who played on of these, I don't know which one, but we picked on him a lot. His mom wouldn't let him come outside if we were all outside. He was the one kid that went to private school so he used to play with his private school nerd friends.

Never got into either but I know a few folks that hooked up with chicks they met on WoW. Hell one of my buddies married the girl. Nerdy but not bad looking. I also know of at least 2 marriages that failed due to WoW. One because he hooked up with a girl he met and one because he was neglecting his wife…
