He wrote a collum saying he liked Drew and knew he didn't have ill will towards gay community but said he should have done better than partnering with focus on the family. It wasn't anything off the wall or over the top SJW.

I don’t have a problem with someone being gay or lesbian. My late brother was openly gay and I loved and supported him until his death. I love all people because I do not feel a person chooses whom he or she is attracted.
A gay person should not have to be persecuted. No person gay or straight should have to feel uncomfortable.
