My daughter and new husband live in a high end apartment complex with rules against owning animals. She of course bought an Alaskan Malmute (sp?) and went online, paid a couple hundred bucks and now has a registered service animal. She is training it well but the dog shits on the carpet etc. My point is that I believe it is grounds for eviction even though she is my girl.

The service dog and emotional support dogs have gotten out of hand and I think strict government regulation is long overdue. She also has three cats with the ES tag. Apartment manager hasn't seen the animals yet but she thinks it will be ok.

Why don’t you live with your new husband too? Seem a strange arrangement. So weird I couldn’t even get to the service dog issue.

All she did is set herself up to play the victim card when the complex wants her out.

She is gonna blast then on social media when they do evict her or tell her she can’t have the dog in hopes they get a bad name or let the dog stay.

Of course she is. Already preparing for it. She could move to a house that allows them or other complexes that do but this complex she lives in is the nicest in the surrounding area by a lot.

The govt would not put a leash on the problem of service/emotional support animals.

There are government regulations in place. If she’s violating the rules she agreed to where she lives, the government will back the apartments up when they kick her out. I’m pretty sure she’d need an actual disability for the law to support her in any way.

I mean she is training it not to bite and not to bark. She can't take him down to the ground level to poop in the lot. It is an apartment complex and she is trying to conceal the dog from management right now. Apparently I raised a dumbass or a smart girl if she pulls it off and gets to keep the dog when it is inevidently discovered.

I would be concerned more with the cat issue, they are some stinky beasts.

Eta. Why do I get a feeling that your daughter has drug dependency problems?

Tell us their apt number and apartment complex, i'll let the owner know ur daughter is a fricking scammer. You should grow a set and turn her in yourself, but obviously the wife has ur balls in a jar.

Don't give us any of your bullshite, if your going to let ur daughter scam people.

Isn’t an Alaskan malamute a large dog? Don’t they need exercise? How is she going to keep it from barking when she’s gone?

The entitlement of all of this is killing me.

Not only large, but they are extremely active dogs that will likely become bored living under those conditions and tear shite up when they are away----especially as a pup until about 18 months or older.

And I'm with you 100% on this whole "entitlement" crap.

Good points. Poor dog. Dumb bitch gets a large dog that sheds a ton that needs lots of exercise and wants to hide him in her apartment.
