It’s been said that divorce is equal to death. You have to through the steps of grief. I went through that shite 19 years ago. I couldn’t give a rats arse about her but it was moving my kid across the state is what killed me. But hang in there it will get better.

Her move which is why it hurts man. Its pride more than anything else. Give yourself a break my man. And get back on your feet. 15 years. This is a whole new chapter. Be who you always wanted.

I went through my divorce at 34. Had two kids, one 7 and the other 3. The first 45- 60 days was horrible. I wouldn’t wish that pain on my worst enemy. I was married 10 years. Had it just been she and I, I would’ve been fine. I actually left Disney channel on any time I was home. After about 3 weeks I started going to the gym obviously. As in 3-4 hours a day. Essentially, if I wasn’t working I was at the gym. I started meeting girls at the gym, then found dating apps and that helped a lot. Once i got into a routine with seeing my kids it got better also.

It’s going to suck. Guaranteed. But it will get better. Good luck, brotha

My kids gravitated towards me, before and after. That was a killer for the first little while because they’d cry going back to their moms.

Sorry to hear about it. I've never been married but I've had a couple of friends get divorced. One of them didn't have kids so it was a little easier for him. I remember one time we were playing pool one night and we were talking to these girls and I still remember the look on his face when he realized there wasn't anything holding him back from pursuing one of them.

Just be the best dad you can be, dont try to talk shite about their mom or fight with her around them, and then go out and start living your life again.

She's moving on whether he likes it or not. The biggest mistake men make in a divorce is thinking the woman he's dealing with is the same one he married. She's not. Treat her like the enemy. She does not care about you anymore (if she ever did) Do not think she is coming back. Go out and dominate your world.

Good point and you’re absolutely right.

My issue is, I can’t imagine people going from loving each other to hating and wanting to do terrible things to one another.

But I’m an idiot.
