I don't care if they make it a holiday but take another one away. fricking Feds are always voting themselves pay raises and days off work. How much is this shite going to cost the taxpayers?

I think celebrating the end of slavery in the US is definitely worth celebrating, certainly more so than President’s Day. He’s simply a civil servant not worthy of a holiday. So rescind President’s Day as a federal holiday, replace it with Juneteenth, and also add Election Day as a biannual holiday.

A holiday to celebrate the fact that some slaves in Galveston had to work a year more than all the others. Almost seems racist.
