Chapelle made the point his recent special that it’s white children that are shooting up schools.
These shootings aren’t particularly common, they are rare, but this does point to a problem in white families.
We should be talking about it. But we aren’t.

Now we’re having kids expelled from school for posting to social media pics with their family out shooting for sport.
So, yeah. Good luck walking the line of free expression and dead kids.

The thing about these shootings is that the kids who do it are in some fricked up state of mind and they want to inflict harm and kill people. If they didn't have a gun they would use something else.
If you ban guns then the next thing you would have to ban are pressure cookers and all the material that goes into making a bomb.
Everyone wants to blame something simple. Its the guns, its the movies, video games.. music.. So I am glad this report came out. And I have always thought that the people who do these things have showed some type of signs. It might have not been easily recognizable and if it is, it all depends on who recognizes it and how they process it.
They might see something, but when thinking about possibilities. the idea that someone you know will go shoot up a school doesn't seem likely so people's thinking defaults to what is more likely.. That they will not do anything extreme..
The problem is.. People want to live two lives. They think they are supposed to get married and/or have kids as soon as they graduate HS or while in college and then after they have a few kids they realize they want to get more out of life so as soon as their kids are old enough to stay on their own.. With their older siblings..They put their attention elsewhere, divorces happen and all of a sudden the kids are pushed to the side.

The problem is there are millions of threats and other suspicious activity.

Okay boomer.
School shooters are definitely the shithead little kids, not super weird loners who keep to themselves.

Versus the extremely common shootings committed by black males of similar ages. That's a far larger problem.

But both are problems, and problems with different origins.

USSS was given the task of analyzing school and mass shootings years back by the President. Because they are the federal experts at dealing with whack jobs and trying to predict violent behavior. They have a whole division of psychologists and behavioral experts.

While i will agree most school shootings are by mentally ill white males, the vast majority of mass shootings, by definition, are not committed by white males.....those massacres just aren’t news worthy bc they go against the anti-gun rhetoric pushed by the ABC letter news outlets.

Let's see, the FBI was warned many times about the Florida school shooter, were even sent links to videos he had, talking about shooting the school up. But hey, they had better things to do.

The FBI has published numerous reports on school and active shooter events.

You should keep that in mind while reading this 80-page pamphlet on messaging intended for gun-control advocates. Really is instructive on how they use emotion, tragedies, and spinning the truth to influence the public.

It basically starts off by stating:
Then spends the next 70+ pages on nothing logical and framing everything by using emotionally charged themes and arguments. It's very instructive on how gun-control advocates think and how they rely on ignorance to spread their messaging.

I’ll be honest, I did read about the first 8 pages and already know whoever wrote it has an agenda. As an example, it talks about “assault weapons” in which no normal American can purchase. I’ll read all of it tomorrow or sat when I have full time to analyze but o can already tell it’s by someone that doesn’t really know weapons.
