Well, raising your elbow and causing contact would be "simple battery" and you face the possibility of charges. If you are OK with that, go for it. Seems like this Dr. needed to prescribe some meds to himself for his aggression.

I live in the area and can tell you the women walking on Lakeshore Drive give no fricks. I sometimes drive home that way and they will be walking three or four wide in the street and just won’t move. I will idle behind them for twenty or thirty feet and then they get the horn. It’s pretty funny that they always yell and flip me off like the car isn’t supposed to be on a public road.

None of us are perfect. if some nefarious aspect of your personal life hit the public eye, someone could say the same about you.
If the guy has never demonstrated rage problems on the job, then it's irrelevant.
