A judge ordered a 15-year-old suspect charged in the Bite of Seattle mass shooting released to home detention, overriding prosecutors' objections.

Court documents detail that the teen allegedly fired a 33-round handgun into the festival crowd, leaving three dead and four injured.

The cops didn't let him loose.

self respect is one thing, but self WORTH...well, I'm sure they certainly value their worth there.

There a reason Seattle’s police department is severely understaffed. Who would want to work as a cop in a city where most people hate you and would gladly see your life ruined just for doing your job of protecting them?

DV is on point. Why risk your life when you know the corrupt system will free them almost immediately?

I couldn't justify that to myself or my family. Id go to a state where there's at least a reasonable chance the 'system' will function.

Or, become a criminal. Sounds like a good bet in Seattle.

This is the reason it should be SHOOT TO KILL in mass shooting situations.

Zero need to arrest, detain, or find out why.

Do the cost effective thing. Spare the public and the families the anguish of reliving that moment over and over.

Eye for an eye.

Or worse yet, you’re a Seattle cop responding to this 15-year-old black girl firing wildly in to a crowd of people at a public festival. You get there and she points that gun at you. You’ve got two choices at that point.

1. Shoot her knowing that will lead to you being immediately fired by the leftist mayor, prosecuted by a leftist prosecutor, certainly found guilty by a leftist jury in a show trial presided over by a leftist judge, and sent to prison for the next 20+ years.

2. Stand there and let her shoot you dead.

That’s why cities like Seattle can’t staff their police departments anymore.

Yet another example (of thousands) of why I regard our current justice system as a pathetic joke, and reflective of a dying, decrepit society.

The only cure at this point is indeed vigilanteism.

What's the big deal? It's not like there's evidence he poses a danger to the public.

Ok, and if the kid does anything else the judge should be charged with negligent homicide.
