Hopefully, that pattern gets delayed...We picked Colorado over north Utah this year because of that. Just didn't pick far enough south.

headed out tonight -

I snowboard, but I'm not a dipshit like most of them. You are very correct with riding on the backside of a snowboarder and the earbuds. They give us all a bad rep.

I can ski as well, that gave me a good sense of "don't be a dick" while snowboarding.

should have a lot of fresh powder this week!

Where are you getting these from? I'm heading there last week of January.

I strictly stick to the western slope unless meeting friends from out of state.

You can get snowfall numbers on most resorts' websites, and also on www.onthesnow.com

I've been wearing a helmet for around five years now. The offer more benefits than just protecting your eggshell.

shins are always in so much pain
I usually have this problem too after a few days (but I don't quit skiing, bitch). Think I'm going to buy some boots next time I go. Should've done it years ago when I was definitely going to be able to ski every year.

I take aleve everyday. My thighs usually are what burn a bit.

Properly fitted boots fixed shin pain.

In Red River, and we're supposed to get hit hard starting tomorrow through the weekend.

Hopefully, there won't be any issues getting the kid in ski school...

Every ski area has weather conditions, snow reports etc. Just go to their site.

I had this problem too. Buying boots was one of the best decisions ever... No pain anywhere. I can walk around all day in the boots, no problem. Plus, and this is the best part, no years of sweaty, nasty, stinky funk buildup in the liner.

Last weekend at Vail rode up with a boarder who was vaping weed on the lift.

Ill give him a pass though because he was cool and offered everybody on the lift a puff

Only a heathen wouldn't offer. If you don't want to share go sit in the trees by yourself.

29" on Timberline last 24 hours, 59" in last 72 hours.

Oregon is getting dumped with snow. Of course the rain, at lower altitude, for the rest of us sucks.
