Sean "Diddy" Combs has been hit with a new lawsuit by a woman who alleges the music mogul drugged her, sexually assaulted her and recorded the assault without her knowledge when she was a college student in 1991.

The suit was filed in the New York Supreme Court on Thursday, one day before the expiration of the New York Adult Survivors Act, which allows adult sexual assault survivors one year to sue regardless of when the original statute of limitations expired.

Hot take

I’m not believing any of these accusations that happened years and years ago.

It’s time we start actually acting like the premise of innocent until proven guilty is paramount. Especially when all these decades old accusations happen to million and billionaires.

Unless you’re Joe Biden, of course.

ETA: #BELIEVENOWOMEN will start because of these gold diggers.

Just the tip of the iceberg for diddy. The dude has had rumblings of him being involved in shady stuff for years now. I believe eventually he will end up in prison

Not likely. The look back statute, the one that is allowing all of these old claims, expires tomorrow. That is the reason for this flurry of claims being filed this week.

Diddy had more women than he wanted - did not have to drug em.

There are certain crimes I agree should not have a statute of limitations, but this type of stuff, I am sorry, but no.

Yes, Rape and Sexual assault are things I even think people should be put down for, but if it was not worth you mentioning until 30+ years later, I feel there is a motive behind it.

No Woman should have to leave in fear/shame from such things, but they should also go to the authorities after. Waiting that long tells me it was not that big of a deal.

And before I get chastised on here about that, I say the same about domestic abuse.

If you are getting your arse kicked, male or female, and wait that long to complain about it, I would say the same thing.

Every crime should have a statute of limitations. Other than advances in DNA testing, every piece of evidence and testimony is degraded over time. It all comes down to he said she said..

They just had to get Trump, no matter what the collateral damage was for black men.

I am equally dubious of all of these, but take great amusement in the fact the political motivations are biting them in the arse.
