I would be concerned that the otter was trying to get away from a shark.

We need to remember we’re guests in the ocean? Ok but I don’t bite my guests (unless they request it) and steal their shite when they visit.

I had no idea how large sea otters are….lots bigger than fresh water otters!
Regardless, I don’t see the need to call out an entire water rescue team…

It's not every day you get to rescue a cute surfer girl.

Otters are some bitches. Some older guy I know lives in a rural area and has maybe 5 or 6 other houses around him and they have a huge pond that is sort of a community pond between all of them. This was a few years ago, but he was telling me that a family of otters overtook the pond for like two days and the only thing they left behind were fish bones. They had to restock the pond (they fish out of it. Not any big time fishing its more like "when the grandkids com over" type fishing).
But he said they are like a rain storm, they are gone as quick as they come in and clean things up..

I wonder how sea otter tastes? Maybe they should start hunting them to keep their population under control. Otter sausage, Otter Gumbo, Ottor nuggets, etc.

The Amazonian River Otter objects to your statement. Those things are bad arse and get close to six feet long.

Otters and seals are my favorite wild animals.

That's what I asked.. Why didn't they shoot them sons a bitches.

Marine mammals are water demons. The giant river otters in the Amazon are the number one offenders. They’ve actually killed people and routinely stand up to jaguars and eat caimans and anacondas like they’re fricking snacks.

Woman attacked by ‘vicious’ otter: ‘I did not think I was going to make it out of that river’
Royce’s face, arms, ears, hands, legs and ankle were all bit by the otter as it attacked for about five minutes. When Royce attempted to kick the otter off her friends, it continued to attack her elsewhere on her body.

I think what would scare the shite out of me would be why the otter wants out of the water so badly..
THIS is the correct take on her predicament

That MF saw that big great white lurking and said peace out. I'll get this dumb human off her board.

If a sea otter hops on a boardand refuses to get off, that's probably a pretty good sign that there is a big predator close. I would get the frick out of the water.
