Now, I SWEAR, y'all, I did more than one search of the OT and could find nothing. Go ahead and shame me if/when I missed it. Link me threads and I'll delete.

Who else has been following the story of Scrim the runaway dog in New Orleans? Are any of you, mostly dog lovers here, finding the humor in this on-going situation? I appreciate and have owned dogs in my years, but this little guy wants to be out there on his own, and it's making me laugh like there's no tomorrow.

You've got animal do-gooders writing posts to him on FB. FR, people? He doesn't have a library card so he won't be able to read the internet. He's been on the go for over six months, now.

Understand, I don't want anything bad to happen to the fellow, he's smart, resourceful, in other words a terrier. He's also been shot a couple times, now. I just see the humor in it all.

Facebook search for Scrim

Its unbelievable. After months of trying to find him, they find him and home him. Shortly there after he chews on a screen on the 2nd floor, jumps off the balcony and immediately escapes out of the fence.

Dog is an unreal escape artist.

I'm guessing they haven't caught him since then

They have not. Zeus' Rescues has a tracker map with pins all over it. Good friend of mine is an animal lover, posting rescues all day long. She sends me the Scrim news.

I’ve somewhat kept up with this.
From the video of him jumping out the second floor window and landing on concrete, I know that’s a tough little SOB.

That good boi had a home and someone he loved. He's trying to get back home but has no idea how, and that home may not even exist anymore...

I don’t think he did. He was saved from a high kill shelter. So either on the run where he is from or dumped. Frankly, the dog is happier on the run. Let him be even if his life is shortened.

My neighborhood of Bham has a local dog that no one can catch. She's wary and has avoided capture for years now. She has a couple of places she frequents. They gave the dog a name. She even has her own Facebook page were people take pics and give updates about where they've seen her. Pretty funny.

Same with this dog, the rescue has FB updates. And there's a current google map.
