What do you think about chunking them by style, generation, or other categories? Past/present, clean/dirty, rapid-fire/storytellers, etc.

Remember, we want 4 roughly equal sub-brackets
If we go that route, so how would you do that? Unlikely to have 4 good equal categories.

I’m seeing some brutal matchups with random seeding. You could have a Chapelle/Pryor first round that way. But, that may ultimately be the way the cookie crumbles

Shaping up to be a damn solid list. Might want to seed the heaviest hitters in 8 pods. Prevent early tourney slobberknockers until the Sweet 16.

Or, just let the cards fall with they may with a completely random seeding

If nothing else this is gonna expose some people to comics they may have never experienced.

A few thoughts nobody cares about.

Prime Eddie Murphy is going to be hard for anyone to beat.

Patt osfat or whatever has entertained me before but I don't object to the bumping of him

A couple of those guys are basically walking dad jokes were never really truly stand up funny and FLUFFY could go over them even if he isn't as big... yeah we know he's big... but not that kind of big, he wasn't Bob Sagat late 80's style big.

That picture had me worried, I almost didn't read to the list!

Early Chappelle and Eddie Murphy are my top in a slug fest but there are some gems like Katt and Leary who I use to listen to on bootleg tapes growing up that hit in the feels too.

Might be too late but both Bob Hope and Rodney Dangerfield were top of their class during their time

Oh yeah. There’s probably at least 8-12 that stand above the rest in talent and prolificness. But this is all for a bit of fun and to expose people to some funny bits. (Plus the super secret prize.) brackets are a fun way to involve people and pass the days, get some good back and forth going and general OT shenanigans,

Fluffy can still waddle his way back in…tell you what, give me 3 choices to boot and we’ll see what happens

Thanks for the input, changed it since it really wasn’t representative of the list

I’m hoping we get some upsets.

Either way, At least one person will get a mild chuckle, bare minimum. I’m going to try and find the best bits for each comedian, plus links to their full specials if people want to watch.

I love to laugh. It’s good for the soul.

Just played around with a bracket maker (which I’m not in love with but it’s a start.)

Completely random seeding. In no way final yet.
You can pretty much guess who wins the first round with most of them, although there are some tossups,

But the sweet 16 gets MESSY

The list isn’t finalized yet…I’m still musing this,
Give me 3 choices to bump, and I’ll consider it. Same deal as with armsdealer

Chief incel of the OT laying it hard. So is it obesity or to many hours posting on tigerdroppings that doesn’t get you laid. Continue on with your anti black and anti women campaign. There are plenty of like minded rural fricktards just like you. Do your parents a favor and move out of their forever home in Zachery

Strange post.

You must have a crazy amount of free time to come up with something like this.

I’ll probably finalize the entries and play with some brackets, let the OT make cases for late entries throughout today. And start sometime during the week.

Like i said I’m not done tweaking the list yet, and so there will be some shakeups and probably a reseed. But I’d like to have something finalized by end of today

No Jim Norton?

Jim Norton has never been on a show hosted by Mark Normand...but he's on the list?

As for who he could replace...everybody on the list NOT named Carlin, Pryor, or Chapelle.

It took a few hours while I was listening to stand ups and screwing around really. It wasn’t hard at all. Just plug some stuff in and poof. Programs do most of the legwork

Post some material if you think someone worthy isn’t on here and I’ll listen to it during the day and make adjustments as I see fit. I’m going back to bed for now
