Well every other person there has pretty much said so
Seems more likely a case of just shite ability to reasonably perceive a situation for what it is versus outright "lying."

Some people just want to believe a multi million dollar athlete showing up for work in the dark, in an area of mass confusion, while lights are flashing everywhere, would intentionally try to run down a police officer, instead of entertaining the possibility of some local pd, being overexcited by the situation, tried to play TJ Hooker and assert his authority.
Or maybe, just maybe, it was a simple misunderstanding with no intentional mens rea by either party.

nice job posting the police narrative.
i guess you just ignored the eyewitness testimony like the ESPN REPORTER who was literally watching it unfold in real time.

Cop should have been fired by now.
I hope Scheffler sues everyone.

The report of the involved policeman does not comport with the reports of other witnesses. I guess they will hash all that out at a later time.

Bro shot a 66 at a major after getting arrested.

Considering that officers have fired on civilians for less, if Scheffler truly “dragged” this officer and the cop did nothing wrong, why did no one come to his defense?

Maybe, but I do know they write those reports to sound as bad as possible for the suspect instead of giving a level headed description of the events.

The golfers were given permission to go around the fatality being worked. It's not Schefflers fault that low IQ cop hung on to his car.
Essentially, Scheffler was doing what he was told he could do and some other cop decided to "have his authoritie" threatened.
was he given permission to go by the police officer directing traffic and go into oncoming traffic? All he had to do was pull up and say Hey im Scotty... But know... And only reason yall dont care is bc he is a golfer.. not a dindunufin as yall say

Yes, and I am pretty sure the road was closed going both ways.

The whole road was shutdown due to the fatality so there was no “oncoming traffic” and PGA officials were told by LMPD officials that the PGA staff and golfers could bypass the scene. It has also come out that another officer waived Scheffler on, so he was following the instructions of another officer.

He was waived on. The cops didnt have any markings on their vests even indicating they were law enforcement.
