Yep. And the outdoor board can pretty much tell you where every case of CWD has been identified in the last 5 years.

All the chinese have to do is put this in nasal spray. Or on the tips of any lab testing nasal swab, or anything that goes into your nose. And guess what country supplies the USA with most of our covid tests?

I've never looked into it, how did CWD first get introduced to the deer/elk population?

It’s actually a terrifying tale of government incompetence. Colorado fish and game were studying a form of sheep scrapie (a prion disease in sheep) in deer in the late 1970’s. The deer escaped the research area, infected local populations, and 50 years later here we are.

Very much akin to Lyme disease and it’s possible origination near a U.S. facility at plum island.

Anyone interested needs to look up prions.

All supplies and any equipment used in a surgery for a patient that they find may have it is incinerated, no matter what the cost.

CWD, Mad Cow, and Kuru (this is the disease in humans) are all a form of transmissible spongiform encephalopathy TSE caused by prions, which are an abnormally folded protein. Of the three, Kuru was first identified in the early 1950s in Papua New Guinea.

Except one is a bacteria and the other is a prion. It's much closer to mad cow or creutzfeldt-jakob.

As long as the deer don’t start eating each others brains we’re good.

The theory is they pass it to each other by drooling on common food sources, ie salt licks.
