I understand playing it safe, but this seemed premature and excessive. Everyone is so connected these days, you could literally cancel a day or so in advance and parents get a text and email immediately. This isn’t the 90’s where school staff needs to break out the phone tree and parents have to watch the news to see if school is closed.

The Archdiocese of New Orleans Office of Catholic Schools sent out a message yesterday. Definitely all JP catholic schools closed Monday & Tuesday. I'm assuming NOLA catholic schools as well
