If I thought it was heading that way anyway, yes. Still a risk 1 year in but it's your fault and making a nice girl into a single mom has the potential to impact her future prospects more than yours.

I'm sure most of us know decently educated single moms from decent families who aren't struggling financially, but who end up in a cycle of woe-is-me attention whoring and desperation, which is almost impossible to pull out of and find a decent husband and start a normal family. Watching it develop on social media in real time is pretty depressing.

Maybe eventually but not just because she got pregnant. This isn't the 1950's anymore.

If you've been dating that long, you know she's marriage material. Suck it up and do the right thing.

Offer to pay for the abortion. If I'm dating someone for any length of time, we'd likely be in agreement that we never want to have kids.

This.

If you knock up a girl, it is on you, period. You are not the victim. This victim culture we have is turning men into giant p*ssies who will do anything to avoid the consequences of their actions.

If you don't want to marry a girl who you just met don't get her pregnant.

On a similar note, a woman has to be completely fricking stupid to let someone cum inside her if she isn’t using reliable birth control or willing to take plan B.

Many women want babies or a meal ticket. Never trust them to do their part. Always wrap it up.

Absolutely fricking not.

Co-parenting is easy. I do it now.

I know what it’s like to have a woman say she is done and just not want to be married anymore.

Guess why? I lost half my shite and laid out way more than that in the end.

So shite no. I would have much rather had to do the court thing to make sure i got my 50/50 custody long before i ever gave a woman shite she didn’t deserve just cause she continued breathing

Before I had kids I would’ve said hell no. Now that I have kids, I couldn’t imagine not seeing them everyday and just whenever I want.

I agree. For all we know he could be holding her hostage and raping her on the regular. I cringe thinking what he might consider “marriage.”

People who say no in this situation are the reason the US is crippled by baby mamas on welfare and kids growing up without dads. Actions have consequences.
How are you contributing to "baby mamas on welfare and kids growing up without dads" if you pay child support and take an active role in raising your child?

Need a law that if a woman kills a man who is not married to her and can show by free genetic testing that her baby was his child too, she gets $300,000 paid out over 20 years and no jail time.

If she says he raped her, it is $500,000.

If they sign a notarized contract for sex, the deal is off.

Men would get a lot more careful if there were actual coincidences. donor organs would be more plentiful too.

Harsh, but probably better than having a completely miserable human being as a father

Ok, but girls also have every avenue possible to prevent this from happening (birth control, plan b, early abortion is pretty much taking a pill). As another poster said, this isnt the 1950s. Its evenly on both parties but the male usually has little to zero say in the matter but expects to bear the full burden (financially anyway).

How's it harsh if neither of us wanted a kid in the first place?
