I think that week of cop killings across the country should be on the list...I know that was a surreal, crazy day in BR. Dallas was live on news when it happened there...

Maybe Princess Diana dying?

That being said, Katrina is #2 to 9/11. This is 3rd at the moment but has the potential to be #1 based on whatever changes to our everyday life become of this. Too early to tell where Covid ranks

In a truly historical global context, this event rivals WWII.

In my lifetime, I'd say Apollo 11 and 911. I do remember looking at the moon and knowing there were men there looking back at me. It was an exhilarating feeling.

911 - I'll just say how I feel to this day is opposite.

Our country that fell apart in the 1960's and 1970's. We went down hill from there.

I don't think that this event comes close to rivalling World War II

Saints winning Super Bowl XLIV

I remember the first time the saints had a winning season. It was almost like winning the super bowl.

As far as world events, chernobyl, Berlin wall, 911, living during the cold War in no particular order.

We were watching it live at school. I was probably in the 4th grade.
