If they thought there was a decent chance he was the guy, they would’ve held him for longer than that.
That guy didn’t seem too bright. If he's involved, he’s either an average robber who screwed it up and accidentally killed her, some sort of low level guy who’s a borderline patsy for a cartel, or he’s secretly a genius mastermind in a Keyser Soze kind of way and pretending to be clueless.
Wonder if they went after him because his cellphone pinged in that neighborhood during the time of the kidnapping or if the bitcoin wallet was masked to make it look like it came from his address.
The JLR Investigates guy went back to Annie & Tommasso’s house where there was literally no activity. Makes you wonder if the cops have any real idea who did this.

I'm still curious why they are harping on Annie's neighborhood so much. Its 4.5 miles from Nancy's and would be amazingly coincidental for the perp to drop a body in her neighborhood or if the family involved, them to shite in their own backyard.
I wonder if they are trying to get security footage to verify the story about dropping her off just before 10pm or if someone left the house in the early morning hours.

FWIW, I'm getting really annoyed at the "celebrations" about how great the investigators are since they released the video. People in the media are all acting like the case is virtually closed.
The last I checked, there are no arrests, no suspects and Mrs. Guthrie is still missing....
There's a time for everything and right not is not the time to high-five the investigators.
