San Francisco is what should be used as the prime example to emphasize the belief that liberalism is a mental disorder. It doesn't get any crazier and ridiculous than San Fran, and that is the Mecca of liberal ideals.

San Francisco is the biggest dump in America.
Go to Maxine Waters district in Los Angeles. You’d think you somehow drove into a ghetto in India.

Seattle voters approved it, but the city council repealed it after Amazon lobbied against it.

Tax the activists
Would be hilarious to see the participation if you made this a “voluntary” tax.

The "City" is not proposing this and the mayor has come out against it. A group of activist acquired enough signatures to put the proposal (Prop C) on the ballot. It is common in Cali to have several Props on the ballot as getting enough signatures is fairly easy, but most of these Props don't pass.

I think Seattle already tried this and the voters shot it down.
Would you say the voters... shite all over it?

Just released a ton of fentanyl into the homeless camp and let the problem sort itself out.

Cali, and especially San Fran, still sucks

Damn, you simply can not fix the Democrat mindset. Liberalism is truly a mental disorder.

God I always love visiting San Francisco because it really is a cool city, but dude, it's turning into more of a shithole as each day passes, and it is cuz of things like this.

I'm a lifelong Bay Area native. There is the Democrat mindset and there is Liberalism and then there are San Francisco politicians and activists whose leftist views are so far out there that even the Hubble Telescope cannot detect them.

San Francisco is awesome. I love when people from Louisiana talk shite about a place just because of the libruls.

North Beach, Chinatown, the Sunset and some of the Richmond (excluding GG Park) have been able to avoid most of the homeless, human waste and the hypodermic needles strewn about issues.

Went there for the first time in 2014 when Auburn played Florida State in the Championship. Actually enjoyed the 3 days we spent there. Even in the city. also the drive down PCH. But, there are a shitload of homeless people. I could not believe how many were sleeping in doorways and begging all over town. I have been in Atlanta a lot so I have experienced some homeless people but in San Fran, it was a unreal amount

Nah, that's not what happened. The city council thought the entire thing up and passed it unanimously, then the voters were so pissed a referendum started to put it on the ballot for an actual vote. The mayor and the city council saw how angry people were and their plummeting approval ratings and balked and repealed it before it could go to a public vote.

Their idea to solve their homeless problem is to...incentivize more homeless people to move to San Francisco?
not only that but
quote:
a so-called "head tax" that charges businesses operating within a city's limits a "per-employee" charge to help cover some of the city's expenses.
so thats an incentive for businesses to fire people so the business has to pay less in taxes as well
its a 2 for one, make the problem worse and at the same time create a situation that by design will put people out of work

tax the activists is a brilliant idea. they have no idea of the consequences of their emotional but not logical rants.
