Freddy's and In-n-Out are pretty similar. Freddy's custard probably puts it ahead.

Whataburger greater than both easily.

They have to have the most bored Weathermen in the country there ...."going to sunny and 72 degrees today and now back to the news"

To be fair, they get to talk about how bad the weather is other places to make you glad you're in San Diego instead.

Go to the tide pools at The Cabrillo National Monument on Point Loma or you wasted your whole trip:

Owlie if you got time drive down the valley into Palm Springs. Beautiful mountain drive and time to just enjoy a beautiful city.

Visited there for the Saints and Chargers game. It's a fine place to do a variety of things. Saw the Padres play, went offshore fishing on Saturday, Saints on Sunday, and clubs each night.

Love San Diego. Was just there 2 weeks ago. Drove up north a little along PCH to enjoy the amazing views and check out other beach town areas such as Newport. Newport Beach only 90 minute drive from SD and is pretty awesome as well.

I'm with you on that. California beaches are pretty rough..the waters cold, there are rocks everywhere, waves are big. But the towns themselves are awesome
