Samsung Washing Machine owners saying fix is BS! (I know affects some of y'all)

We had a thread late last month about the Samsung recall, many of you had the "simple fix" done. Well looks like the fix isn't permanent.
Today link
The problem is caused by really weak supporting springs, and a back heavy drum that is easily taken out of balance. Rather than replace the springs and relocated the pump as part of the recall ( repairs techs have known about for years) they simply add in metal straps to keep the machine from busting apart, but it will still break. Their fix is literally a band aid, not surgery.
People shopping for new laundry machines, avoid Samsung.

Now some consumers are saying that Samsung is botching the recall, leaving them with potentially dangerous machines and no way out.

And people make fun of me for still using a washboard and bar of soap, suckas.

The only thing Samsung I will ever own is a TV

If you simply follow Samsung instructions for washing bedding this won't happen.

This even my newest TV is a Sony. I just do not trust Samsung products anymore.

I like my galaxy 7 edge
old school whirlpool for the win in laundry detail. pays to not be married and influenced to blow thousands on a washer and dryer

I will avoid everything Samsung. Their refrigerators (especially ice makers) are shite.
And I now have a Samsung TV that has lines across the screen.

Bought a Samsung refrigerator 4 years ago. Thing is a huge piece of shite. Only thing I'll buy from Samsung will be phones and TVs.

Still haven't done anything with the recall. The fix is BS, and I don't want to actually buy a new one right now. I've loaded mine down big time with bedding and used the "old" bedding setting before new instructions came out and never had any issues. Now using the new, low spin setting I imagine even less of a problem. Only pain is heavy comforters are soaking wet when they come out. Luckily gas is cheap and my dryer is gas. Just let it run for longer.
ETA: also have a Samsung fridge that I need to take the back off of because they didn't screw a bracket on tight enough and every time the compressor kicks on I can hear a rattle. And putting the vents in the back is so dumb. Having to pull the whole damn fridge out to clean out the vents on a fridge is annoying.

Samsung should leave the laundry business to Kenna City's pride and joy

I have a Samsung fridge and gas range on order. I did that after researching and reviewing to the best of my abilities.
I still have doubts about my decision.

We purchased one of these models last year from Home Depot and fortunately we purchased the 5 year warranty plan, which I hardly ever do, but for some reason my intuition told me to do it. If I have any trouble with it, I'll just get a brand new unit.
But it does suck to hear that this could happen and if it does happen and the unit basically explodes and floods my laundry room, my question is will Samsung repair my wood floors that will likely be damaged as a result of their shitty product?

Well shite, I literally just chose the fix over the rebate. My service appt. is set for Saturday
They only offered me $45 rebate if I chose not to go with the fix. $145 if I went with a new Samsung
