North of Florida? Yes
Please. I’m not advocating going to the Walgreens by old EKL at 11pm but if anyone here is too afraid to drive down Airline to go to any of those big box stores...
I guess I’m the only one here not afraid to go to Cortana HD, Lowe’s, Autozone, Academy, Dillards, or any of the Home materials supply stores around there.

They're shutting 260 nationwide. All of them in Anchorage
Costco is winning

Afraid? No. But what reason would you ever have to go north of Florida to shop anyway? Maybe an early morning breakfast at Frank's is the only reason I'd ever need to go down that area of Airline

Wow. White people avoid culcha and shite goes out of business? I would've never guessed.

The Siegen location is going to get a whole lot busier now.
They’d better open up some more lanes,
The design of that shopping center at Seigen where Walmart and Sam's Club is is horrible. Actually, so is the design of the access roads.

It sucks to navigate for sure.

To go to the stores I listed?

Yay, more abandoned retail!

It's really bad. The road conditions are horrible too. They had some car killers on that road not long ago.

I’d surmise this is more of Costco entering the BR market than that Sam’s. The store itself was fine.

I've solved the Issue.
Solution A: On-ramp East bound to Pecue where there is a turnaround on the bridge.
Solution B: Service roads to Highland.
Not sure why this hasnt been done yet. It would eliminate a ton of congestion and lane changes right at the Seigen/I-10 intersection.

It starts to get sketchy there, but it's still generally safe. Once you get past the railroad tracks however...

It's all part of a Walmart/Sam's conspiracy to culcharize Costco and put a dent in their business.

Seriously, the Cortana Sam's was not that bad. Easier to park and get into/out than Costco or the other Sam's clubs. Some people actually work in NBR. It's much easier to swing in there on my way home than the other stores. The access to the area has multiple roads that you can use unlike the cluster around Siegen or Denham. I use it all the time and never have had a problem.

I didn't even know there was one

Yeah I wasn't joking I had the misfortune of going into the Walmart right there about 10:30pm one night. My friend had a dead battery and that was the closest place that was still open. I got hit up for money and cigarettes in the parking lot several times, trash and shopping carts everywhere. It's a rough area now.

And yet the inside of that Wal-Mart is the cleanest one I have ever seen.

The Autozone there is open 24/7

When the AutoZone and advance auto oil sale hits, plank road locations are my spot
