We're in meraux and we're probably going to not stay because we lose power if someone sneezes hard enough

I trust the HWRF more than anything this season.

Which makes me seriously concerned about telling my folks to roll out.

Sally is still very disorganized, which is good news. It looks like the 18z HWRF and HMON are picking up on the overall disorganization of the system and not strengthening it as quickly over the next 24hrs. Will that be enough of a delay to keep things in check through landfall?

On another note, is those murky clouds sitting over the TX panhandle from the wild fire feature?

I saw that it made it 1000 miles away into a low pressure in the Pacific.

HWRF notably weaker which should translate to weaker than the 12z at least.

HMON weaker but not much since it didn't have it all that together at 12z by this point.

All positive thus far.
