Wife is reading comments from a storm chaser. He said it is about to get extreme for a few minutes and then we will be in the eye.
Wow, he was right. At least with the extreme part, no eye yet
.....still waiting on the eye....think I’m ready for it
Think my patio door has reached its limits. Sounds like a jet airplane in here and I can feel wind coming in from around the frame from across the room

Chatter on Adair feed said some buoys in Baldwin Co. just spiked about 12 feet. BE CAREFUL IF YOU ARE NEAR ANY WATERWAY WITH SURGE POTENTIAL IN THAT AREA.

On the 3rd floor with water coming in through the back patio door and the side living room roof... These people have a bad condo with this rain leaking in like this..

Anybody made it to the eye yet?

LOL at weather channel guy Tevin talking about being in 85 mile an hour winds with plastic lawn chair sitting behind him. I think one of the chairs has fallen over.

I see on my weather app that with the 120 mph windchill, it feels like it is 69 degrees outside.

Looks like the eyewall collapsed? Maybe she’ll start weakening?

This bitch is about as unpredictable as a high school chick on prom night.

OBA should be in the eye now.

Yep, just went outside. Discovered that my sliding patio door had opened about an inch, so that explains the breeze in the condo. A little bit of mopping to do. Glad to get a break for a while. Obviously no power. Still raining, but calm outside.
Cut the zip ties on the remaining two chairs outside and brought them in. Not sure why the management company didn’t just bring the chairs in to begin with. I should have known better, but assumed it wasn’t their first rodeo and left them as is when I got here. At least the constant clanging will be gone when we get to the other side of the eye.
